The Thirsty Nomad offers two choices of filter, the 5 in 1 and the 3 in 1.
Both filters can be used at point of fill with a standard garden hose connection or installed permanently at point of use – inline in 12mm, 6mm (1/4″) or 16mm PEX water line. 

The 5 in 1 is our higest level of protection, ideal for those who want the highest contamination removal. Perfect for the off-road adventurer, the auto-immune compromised, families with young children or those who want the very highest level of protection. Ideal for purifying water drawn from rivers and streams where water typically shows signs of turbidity:-

1.     Heavy Metal Removal including arsenic, cadmium, copper, antimony, lead, mercury, uranium, zinc and selenium
2.    Bacteriostatic medical grade nano coated silver, copper, titanium cloth blocking up 99.9% of bacteria from re-producing on the carbon           plus additional heavy metail reduction of lead, mercury, chromium and cadmium. 
3.    5.0 micron activated carbon fiber block
4.   0.01 micron Ultrafiltration
5.    Quantum Disinfection^TM media providing catalytic elimination of harmful pathogens with an equivalent micron rating of 0.001 micron
