Robert, Tory and Dr Chis have been in the water purification business for over forty years. With all our years of experience filtering water, we know what works. We don’t dabble in caravan water filters – it’s our sole occupation. All of our time, energy, and resources go into this business. The Thirsty Nomad uses a combination of rigourously certified technologies to provide the most advanced purification techniques not previously available from any other RV water purification product. All of our water purifiers are designed with our customers safety first and foremost. In all our designs, we focus on microbiologically safe water, efficiency, high performance and convenience.  

For too long the caravan industry has been sold, simple, outdated, expensive granular activated carbon filters that falsely proport the use of silver as a means to kill bacteria and viruses, however, the World Health Organisation has stated, “there are insufficient data to document that it acts against a broad spectrum of pathogenic organisms. Performance efficacy has been adequately documented only for some bacteria and not for viruses and protozoan parasites. The impact of water chemistry is often neglected in efficacy studies, and further, long contact times are generally required.” W.H.O 2018.

For too long, the caravan industry has been fed mis-information from suppliers who have no background in water science or water purification.

We understand that when you are travelling in your caravan, space is often scarce. Our, compact water purification system, all housed in one small unit will save on space as well as giving yourself delicious, pure drinking water while you’re on the road.

Away from the traditional water disinfection methods (chlorine, alcohol, bromide, ozone or UV), The Thirsty Nomad’s Quantum Disinfection™ uses a discharged surface (positive quantum field) that attracts electrons from microorganisms causing their entire structure to collapse. As harmful microorganisms come into direct contact with the Quantum Disinfection™ media, the electrons inside the pathogens are irretrievably attracted by the positively charged surface. This causes the entire structure of the micro-organisms to collapse on a molecular scale.
